Taking on the educational bureaucracy is another. Check out what the college prides itself on. For half of them, it would be a step up. DO take clues from how the question is asked. The most extreme case is developing programming languages, which doesn't pay at all, because people like it so much they do it for free.
That's why startups always pay equity rather than just salary. Personal or family issues. Startups win because they don't—because they take people so smart that they would in a big company be doing "research," and set them to work instead on problems of the most immediate and mundane sort.
If they'd already been through their Artix phase, they'd have learned to ask that. Medicine has long work hours. Now adults have no immediate use for teenagers. The closest it really comes is to say that: These tests are designed to measure a students academic accomplishments and readiness for college.

Whatever you are interested in, I guarantee there is a group for it. If you want to make lots of money, you don't have to go to college, or at least you don't have to go to a prestigious school.
It's very important to think about how you want your college experience to. Here you need to focus on your interests and aspirations, but you also need to specifically address why the college to which you’re applying is a great match for you.
